"Networking and how others were doing their work was the most important information from the 2010 AEC I shared with my colleagues." – 2010 AEC Attendee

NETWORKING

Friends. Contacts. Connections.

There is just something about being at the NEHA AEC in-person. Social networking connects us virtually when we can't engage face-to-face, but nothing can replace the learning that results from the live interactions that take place at the AEC with other environmental health professionals and experts – sharing stories and best practices; working together to discover and solve similar challenges; having a personal conversation; and/or reuniting with friends and colleagues.

The NEHA AEC brings together environmental health professionals and experts. It is also the event that affords you the opportunity to connect with professionals in related industries (such as retail food, onsite wastewater, and sustainability); collaborate with officials from other levels of government (such as city managers, policy makers, and state legislators); and dialogue with peers in federal programs (including CDC, FDA, and EPA).

Interact with these various professionals at planned special events such as the Networking Luncheon, Exhibition, and President's Banquet, or engage with them spontaneously during sessions in the Learning Lab and in hallway conversations.

Leave the NEHA AEC with strengthened business and personal relationships and a network of peers and experts across industry and government that you can call on at anytime!
