June 17, CIOWTS Exams

The Certified Installer of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (CIOWTS) Basic and Advanced Level Exams will be offered at the OWS Summit from 8:00am - 12:00noon. Cost is $95 member/$110 non-member for the Basic Level Exam and $110 member/$130 non-member for the Advanced Level Exam. An application is required to take the exam. June 17, Friday Night Networking Event

Come join your onsite wastewater systems colleagues at this informal networking event! Enjoy food, drink, and a lot of great conversation. Start your summit off with a bit of fun and relaxation as you enjoy good food and the company of your colleagues on Friday, June 17, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Tickets are available at no cost, but registration is required. (Space is limited to 150 attendees).

June 17, Field Trip

Spend the afternoon seeing the latest and most innovative onsite wastewater systems in Columbus! You and your colleagues will be taken by bus to visit local systems and learn more about their effectiveness, operations, maintenance and any special considerations. There is no cost to attend the field trip, but registration is required. (Space is limited to 100 attendees).

Complimentary tickets are included in registrations to attend the entire Summit and one-day registrations that are for Saturday only.

June 19, Exhibit Hall Open

The Exhibit Hall will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and various activities will be taking place including Onsite Jeopardy, a Silent Auction, Poster Session, and Dessert in the Exhibit Hall in the afternoon.

June 19, Onsite Jeopardy

Think you know your business? You can prove it by participating in Onsite Jeopardy in the Exhibit Hall. In this event, teams of participants will have the opportunity to show off their knowledge of different aspects of the onsite business, and that includes knowledge about exhibitors. As a contestant, you will visit the booths of exhibitors in Onsite/Decentralized Wastewater Alley to collect information from each company, which will then be a part of the question and answer phase of the competition.

The entry fee is $20/two-person team, and you will have the chance to compete for the grand prize: A trip to Mexico for two for each of the winning team members! Registration will be available in the Exhibit Hall the day of the competition.

June 19, Contractor Day

On Sunday, June 19, the 2011 Onsite Wastewater Systems Summit is offering a contractor day for installers, designers, service providers and O&M specialists who may not be able to attend the full Summit. For more information about this event, click here for the full description.
